I. About Hemp

Hemp knitwear has been developed in recent years. Compared with pure cotton products, Hemp knitwear has the following advantages: 1. Pure green product. Pests do not affect hemp plants. As a result, no environmentally damaging chemicals or pesticides are needed for their cultivation. 2. Soft and comfortable. Hemp fabrics are the softest among hemp, ramie and flax. It is the best material for knitwear, with no itchy and rough feeling. It is similar as cotton fabrics. 3. Cool with good breathing ability. The ability of hemp fabrics to absorb moisture and wick it away from the skin’s surface is better than that of 100%cotton fabrics. This means wearing hemp clothing is very comfortable, especially in summer. 4. Good ability to shield UV rays. Hemp knitwear can effectively shield more than 95% of UV irradiation; pure cotton can only shield 30%. This makes hemp knitwear much more effective at protecting your skin. 5. Natural antibacterial/fungal ability. It is better for your body. Hemp socks help control athlete’s foot because they have anti-fungal properties and can also control foot odor caused by bacteria.

II. About Bamboo

Bamboo fabric is a natural textile made from the pulp of the bamboo grass. Bamboo fiber resembles cotton in its unspun form, a puffball of light, airy fibers. Bamboo fabric has been growing in popularity because it has many unique properties and is more sustainable than most textile fibers. Bamboo fabric is light and strong, has excellent wicking properties, and is to some extent antibacterial. The use of bamboo fiber for clothing was a 20th century development, pioneered by several Chinese corporations.
